    About Me

My name is Samantha Connolly. I have always been active and fit but after a variety of jobs

(sedentary deskwork followed by years of working with horses) I had quite a few muscular problems.

I put them down to the rigours of work and “getting older” and assumed they were irreversible.

An interest in equine bodywork eventually led to my training in Neuromuscular Therapy.

Having experienced the benefits myself (NMT made me feel fitter and stronger than I had in years)

I knew I wanted to pursue a career in this field.

I attained the National Qualification in Neuromuscular Physical Therapy and Orthopaedic Sports Massage

at the NationalTraining Centre in Dublin and I started my physical therapy practice.

I continued my studies and I now hold a qualification in Advanced NeuromuscularTherapy.

In attaining this I had the great fortune to study with one of the

leading experts in the field of bodywork, Dr. Leon Chaitow.

I also hold qualifications in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (Vodder).

This is a specialised therapy which applies to dysfunctions or pathologies of the lymphatic system.

I really enjoy the variety and challenges of my job and derive great satisfaction from

helping people to regain their strength, mobility, agility and flexibilty - which enables

them to make the most of their most valuable asset, their body.
